Reservations Agent Role Overview

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with guests and providing excellent customer service.

As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for handling all reservation-related calls, ensuring guests are informed of relevant operational policies, and optimizing revenue by selling from the highest room category down.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling all reservation-related calls, including new bookings, modifications, cancellations, and general enquiries;
  • Ensuring guests are informed of all relevant operational policies, such as credit card requirements, cancellation terms, check-in/check-out times, and car parking availability;
  • Optimizing revenue by selling from the highest room category down and promoting value-added services such as parking and breakfast;
  • Accurately tracking and applying sales promotions and advertising campaigns within the CMS as outlined in promotional advisories;
  • Entering and maintaining confirmed reservation details in the CMS, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all guest data fields.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant customer service, sales, hospitality experience preferably in the BPO industry;
  • Open to undergrads with experience and fresh graduates with good communication skills (both written and verbal);
  • Knowledgeable in computer applications;
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel) and other call centre-specific software/systems (i.e. 8x8, Dynamics, AVAYA);
  • GDS experience is a plus but not required.
