Financial Transaction Specialist

Job Summary
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable, with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts by managing end-to-end AP/AR processes.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, as well as monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Improve collection rates and optimize cash flow through collaboration with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve payment issues.
- Generate and analyze AR/AP reports, aging summaries, and key metrics, as well as assist in audits with proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Recommend and implement improvements to streamline AP/AR workflows.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities and a self-starter mentality. You should be comfortable working with large transaction volumes and tight deadlines, and have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in Xero or similar accounting software, with strong Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas, reports).
- Familiarity with audit prep, regulatory compliance (GAAP/IFRS), and cash flow forecasting.
- Able to work with cross-functional teams like operations, sales, and customer support.
- A team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and a customer-first approach.
