Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and applicable laws.
  • Support the finance team in various projects and ad-hoc reporting needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
