Job Description

A dynamic and innovative company is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their growing team. As a key player in our data management strategy, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions aligned to business needs.

You will create robust data models, flows, and storage using Microsoft Fabric and Azure SQL, manage master data with Profisee, and integrate with existing systems. Additionally, you will build and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related tools, ingest data from APIs and external systems into the Azure ecosystem, and implement ETL/ELT logic to prepare data for consumer use.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or architecture, with proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and lakehouse architecture. They should also have expertise in master data management using Profisee software and management of data estate using Purview software.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong technical skills: Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Profisee, and Purview software
  • Programming skills: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or C#
  • Cloud computing: Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking
  • Data integration: Knowledge of data integration tools, such as SSIS and Informatica PowerCenter
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including analysts, developers, and business leaders
