We are seeking a skilled Tax Analyst to join our team at ETeam PH. As a key member of our tax department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company's compliance with global tax regulations.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will collaborate closely with our tax team to handle various taxation matters and participate in our intensive month-end process. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing accounts to identify transactions intended for tax purposes and preparing tax-related journals.
- Assisting in the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns on time and responding to audit requests.
- Contributing to the improvement of our internal tax documentation and ensuring it remains up-to-date.
- Supporting other miscellaneous projects as needed to assist the team in achieving business objectives.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in tax roles within multinational and/or BPO/Shared Services Companies.
- Some background in tracking spending and expense tagging for tax compliance.
- A good understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
- The ability to learn new concepts independently and communicate effectively through verbal and written platforms.
Possession of CA or CPA certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
