Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee accounts payable activities and maintain accurate general ledger records.
  • Establish standardized financial workflows, processes, and internal controls to enhance accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and preparation of financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Provide detailed budget-to-actual analyses and collaborate with stakeholders to address discrepancies.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and in-depth reviews of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP standards in all accounting practices.
  • Assist in meeting tax obligations by preparing records for quarterly and annual tax filings and coordinating with tax professionals.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is essential; CPA certification is a plus.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end accounting activities and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setup.
  • Fully fluent in English.
  • Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time).
