Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at HOLA PARADE. As a key member of our kitchen, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite pastries, baked goods, and confections that exceed customer expectations.

Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position offering a competitive daily rate of Php700.00. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive employee discounts, opportunities for promotion, paid training, and supplemental pay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and manage the pastry section of our kitchen with precision and efficiency.
  • Prepare ingredients and handle baking and other kitchen equipment with care and attention to detail.
  • Create visually stunning pastries, baked goods, and confections that delight our customers.
  • Develop new recipes for seasonal menus that showcase your creativity and expertise.
  • Decorate pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation.
  • Monitor the stock of baking ingredients and order new supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in your section of the kitchen.
  • Supervise and train staff members as required.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Training at a culinary institution or relevant field.
  • A certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in the food industry as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role.
  • Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
  • Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
