Job Title: Social Media Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the social media presence of our freight forwarding client. This role requires the ability to create and curate high-quality content, strengthen brand positioning, attract new clients, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's brand and sales objectives.
  • Create a content calendar focused on client acquisition, thought leadership, and brand trust.
  • Identify the most effective social media channels for our business (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
  • Design and post engaging social content: industry updates, service highlights, case studies, client testimonials, infographics, and videos.
  • Translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand posts for potential clients.
  • Use storytelling techniques to highlight the company's success, client wins, and service reliability.
  • Actively engage with followers, prospective clients, and industry leaders online.
  • Monitor mentions, comments, and direct inquiries; respond in a timely manner.
  • Participate in logistics-related conversations, LinkedIn groups, and communities to improve brand visibility.
  • Track performance across platforms: impressions, engagement, reach, and conversions.
  • Provide regular reports to stakeholders on campaign performance.
  • Optimize posting schedules, formats, and messaging based on analytics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of social media experience (B2B preferred).
  • Freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Canva, Buffer/Hootsuite.
  • Excellent copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple content streams.

The ideal candidate should possess creativity, industry awareness, and an understanding of how to make complex concepts accessible and engaging to potential customers.
