Financial Transaction Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, solid analytical skills, and good mathematical ability. They will also possess clear and professional communication skills when working with vendors and internal teams.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and supporting documents
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and ensure data accuracy
- Identify and leverage early payment discount opportunities with vendors
- Verify the accuracy of invoices, ensuring alignment with purchase orders and contracts
- Prepare checks or electronic payments in accordance with company policy and approval guidelines
- Strong analytical skills to review financial data and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Good mathematical ability for balancing accounts and calculating discounts
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
