Job Description

The Data Analyst - Mid (Ceded Reinsurance) position involves facilitating operational data projects, working closely with subject matter experts, and coordinating delivery goals. This role requires expertise in managing large-scale data projects, improving data availability and quality, defining data requirements, and performing testing and logging errors.

Responsibilities
  • Manage complex data projects and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve business efficiency and reduce rework
  • Work collaboratively across departments to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
  • Provide ongoing production support for data analysis and reconciliation processes
Requirements
  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in reporting tools, Microsoft Excel, databases (SQL Server & PowerBI), and data visualization software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management certification or experience
  • Knowledge of Alteryx and other data analytics tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field
