Job Title: Data Insights Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven professional to join our team as a Data Insights Specialist. This individual will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and presenting findings in a clear and actionable manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex data sets using Python and SQL to uncover insights and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Present findings through compelling data narratives and visualizations tailored to various stakeholder audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver timely, relevant insights.
  • Support initiatives related to student outcomes, institutional performance, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in or with educational institutions, with an understanding of academic data and student lifecycle metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analytics using Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and SQL (PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Google Sheets, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience in presenting insights using tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint.
  • Certifications in data analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Google Advanced Data Analytics, DataCamp) are a strong plus.
