Job Overview:

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for providing operational support to the global network environment.

This involves proactive and reactive support for all network hardware, software, and communication links.

  • Provide integration support to project managers.
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex problems with thorough documentation.
  • Perform regular maintenance activities such as code updates & equipment upgrades.
  • Manage incident, problem, change, and capacity management.
  • Deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel, and outside vendors.
  • Ensure security and audit compliance.
  • Perform operational-related moves, adds, changes, and deletes (MACD).
  • Adhere to operational standards.
  • Comply with engineering design standards and established operational processes.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of operational documentation.

Technical Skills Needed:

  • Networking technologies including DNS, DHCP, VPN, Network Security, and IP routing protocols.
  • Cisco networking technologies including routing & switching, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
  • Cisco wireless and Meraki wireless.
  • Palo Alto firewalls.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in supporting Cisco networking technologies.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Practical knowledge on CISCO networking technologies.
  • ITIL certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level technology problem-solving skills.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience. CCNA/CCNP certifications are required.

Work Arrangements:

  • Mostly working from home (RTO as needed)
