Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced architectural planning professional to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in CAD tools and a keen understanding of space planning, building elevations, and architectural layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create precise plans using CAD and other design software.
  • Interpret architectural sketches and develop full construction-ready plans.
  • Maximize space efficiency while adhering to client specifications and building codes.
  • Ensure drawings align with UK building regulations and planning guidelines.
  • Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to revise drawing packages.
  • Maintain organized records of revisions and drawing sets for project tracking.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in architectural planning, CAD drafting, or design layout development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent drafting/design tools.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning processes, zoning codes, and building regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and visual presentation of technical documents.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to produce high-quality plans that meet both aesthetic and regulatory standards.

This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and adapt to evolving client needs.

A portfolio showcasing previous planning, elevation, and layout work is highly preferred.
