Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to oversee the stability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing effective continuous integration and deployment pipelines, as well as streamlining deployments, optimizing cloud resources, and supporting infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives.
- Monitor Cloud Environment: Ensure resources, costs, permissions, and security are managed within our cloud infrastructure.
- CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Develop and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform and other IaC tools to manage cloud infrastructure and configurations.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Deploy and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
- Cloud Architecture and Networking: Design and configure common cloud services such as web application firewalls, gateways, networking components, and security solutions.
- Database and Storage Management: Configure and maintain cloud databases, storage solutions, App Service Plans, and KeyVaults.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management, preferably with a cloud provider like Azure.
- Strong skills in CI/CD pipeline setup, with tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Terraform and other IaC tools.
- Familiarity with common cloud services, including security, networking, databases, and storage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
