As an Events and Marketing Administrator, you will work closely with leadership and marketing to ensure successful event execution, while also managing event logistics and ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Planning and Execution: Plan and execute events that meet business objectives, working closely with leadership and marketing.
  • Event Logistics Management: Oversee all event details, including planning, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination.
  • Scheduling and Tech Support: Schedule and manage online talks, conferences, and global in-person meetings, providing technical support during events.
  • Recording Coordination: Coordinate with the Recordings team on event streaming and editing requirements.
  • Status Updates: Regularly update stakeholders on event status, proactively addressing risks and solutions.
  • Venue Management: Identify and book suitable venues for in-person events, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Participant Assistance: Attend all online events, provide participant assistance, and coordinate technical support.
  • Event Inquiries: Efficiently manage event inquiries via email and maintain accurate tracking spreadsheets and speaker databases.
  • Marketing Materials: Produce marketing materials, assist with website updates, and promote events.

Requirements

  • Degree or Experience: Relevant degree or 2 years of work experience.
  • Event, Marketing, or Administration Experience: Previous experience in event, marketing, or administration is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of event streaming platforms like Zoom Events.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to multi-task, proactive problem-solving attitude, and stakeholder management experience.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong numerical skills, keen attention to detail, and deadline-driven.
