Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Data Infrastructure team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining backend services that support our mission to empower individuals with learning differences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend services using cloud infrastructure and Terraform.
  • Collaborate closely with Scientists to deliver richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.
  • Work with the AI Team and Leadership to craft the AI Team's dataset roadmap to power Clutch Canada's next-generation consumer and enterprise products.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
  • Experience with web crawlers, large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
