Junior Java Engineer Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated software engineer to work on backend systems using modern Java technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to contribute to the development of scalable applications.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain efficient backend components using Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, manage data using PostgreSQL or other relational databases like MySQL or SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging processes.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of backend services and systems.
  • Produce clear and maintainable documentation for developed code and systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Basic knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
