Cyber Security Specialist Role

Protecting digital assets from cyber threats and attacks is a vital responsibility of this role. Cyber security specialists assess security risks, develop effective measures, and maintain a vigilant stance against potential breaches.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Threat Analysis: Identify and analyze potential security threats by monitoring system logs, network traffic, and security tools. Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Response: Respond swiftly to security incidents, investigate breaches, and provide timely resolutions. Develop incident-response plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate and recover from reported security breaches.
  • System Assessments: Conduct regular assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications; develop strategies for remediating vulnerabilities and minimizing potential risks.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science; 1 year minimum experience in the field.
  • Log analysis and troubleshooting skills; strong understanding of networking protocols and operating systems; ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to evolving cyber threats.
