Key Job Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and leading a team of analysts who are responsible for statistical forecasting in the APAC region. This role will also work closely with the global COE team to implement continuous improvement and standardization in statistical forecasting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of statistical demand planning analysts
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve skills and performance
  • Champion global processes within the region by identifying capability gaps through process metrics and skill matrices
  • Define and lead onboarding training for the team
  • Build enhancements for process or system gaps found within the region

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, economics, engineering or business-related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in supply chain or business with 2-3 years focused on demand planning
  • Hands-on experience in demand planning and simulation systems or tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • People management experience

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in project management and process improvement
  • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Experience with Tableau and Power BI
  • General knowledge of finance, sales, marketing and R&D functions
  • Strong training and coaching skills
  • Ability to drive action and influence decision making at all levels of the organization
