Job Title: Accounts Payable Officer

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the day-to-day finance operations of our Australian-based client.

This role involves performing various financial tasks, including accounts payable and finance support functions, liaising with suppliers and internal staff, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, coding and processing purchase requisitions, scanning and attaching invoices in the accounting system, producing weekly and monthly supplier payment proposals, administering the corporate credit card system, maintaining supplier accounts, applying for credit, responding to enquiries, reconciling supplier statements, resolving discrepancies, handling filing and ad hoc system maintenance, issuing customer queries and overdue letters, preparing workpapers, investigating items and accounts, and performing other tasks as directed by the client or management.
