Job Overview:

The Manager of the Analytics Implementation team will be the senior contact for key clients and responsible for developing strong client relationships and facilitating the growth of the Analysis Implementation project team.

This role will focus on leading a team to deliver best-in-class analytics implementations on our primary analytics platform tools. The ideal candidate enjoys mentoring consultants, partnering with clients, and driving cross-team collaboration.

This role will also cover oversight of web analytics infrastructure implementation resources and ensuring the technical resources are provided proper training and development of their client engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other team members to define and refine our processes and practices for performing analytics implementations and other technical services and deploy these with the goal of improving quality of key deliverables across projects.
  • Develop and deliver a training program that will allow technical staff to efficiently gain knowledge on performing analytics implementations.
  • Manage a group of technical consultants.
  • Mentor junior team members on successfully executing their consulting duties.
  • Deliver and have oversight on key deliverables.
  • Evaluate business goals and objectives from multiple business teams and develop and document tracking/tagging strategies to allow individuals and teams to measure success.
  • Consulting with clients and/or their agencies on projects requiring web analytics platform selection, implementation, and platform remediation.
  • Work with client development teams to install, configure & use web analytics services such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, and/or Adobe Analytics.
  • Perform quality assurance tests on tracking implementations.
  • Provide best practice consulting services to clients in solving their Web analytics platform strategy and technical needs.
  • Conduct platform training and knowledge sharing in web analytics for clients and the project team.
  • Recommend appropriate web site measurement tactics tied to business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for tagging efficiency and provide solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Analytics tracking solutions.
  • Write/edit implementation documents, which explain how to implement our digital analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with site developers to modify the existing tagging infrastructure using tag management systems and inline code.
  • Debug implementation problems/configuration/coding errors.
  • Perform/Advise quality assurance testing post-implementation using validation tools along with best practices.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of software development standards, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Experience in front-end development with skills in JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, and JSON.
  • Excellent written skills, in English, for communicating with technical and non-technical users.
  • B.S. Degree: Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Experience in producing reference manuals, developer guides, and/or code samples.
  • A strong team mentality; and an ability to work independently.
