About the Position
The Business Development Contact Setter is a critical role within our organization, responsible for establishing relationships with potential clients and existing customers to set appointments for our sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish relationships with potential clients and existing customers to set appointments
- Maintain and update client databases with accurate records of appointments and follow-ups
- Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria to ensure they meet requirements for the sales team
- Communicate effectively with prospects and business partners to determine their needs and interest in our offerings
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of appointments and sales opportunities
- Meet or exceed monthly call and appointment-setting targets
- Manage appointment calendars to ensure optimal scheduling and prevent conflicts
Requirements
- Proven experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, or sales-related roles (B2B)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build rapport quickly and professionally over the phone
- Goal-oriented with ability to handle rejection and stay motivated
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
