Marketing Officer Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a Marketing Officer who will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data on consumers, competitors, and market places to create actionable items, reports, and presentations that can be used to develop a marketing plan or campaign.
  • The ideal candidate will draft questionnaires, polls, surveys, and other data collection resources to determine target market's behavior.
  • As a key member of the team, you will serve as main keeper and conduit for communications of our online and social media platforms.
  • You will draft, post, and manage social media and marketing contents, promotional materials, and information campaigns built on our messaging and aligned with University standards to generate interests and increase student recruitment.
  • Our Marketing Officer will develop promotional materials including copywriting of posts and basic editing of video for Social Media (e.g., reels, YouTube videos, etc.).
  • Serving as the School's brand champion, you will check contents, posts, images, materials to ensure alignment with University standards.
  • Monitoring the School's digital platforms (e.g., website, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube), you will include visitor engagements, and reviews web/social media analytics to measure the success of social media campaign using data-driven techniques.
  • You will attend to day-to-day inquiries received through the School's digital channels (e.g., website, Marketing email, SMS, Viber, WhatsApp, official social media handles) with the purpose of converting leads to actual enrollment.
  • The successful candidate will recommend, implement, and manage approved comprehensive social media plan and strategy, mindful of target audiences and engagement objectives.
  • Additionally, they will research and identifies social media communication trends, best practices, policies, procedures or new technology and assesses potential opportunities for integration into our current online practices.
  • The person in this position will also attend to and ensures immediate response to inquiries about the program, application status, etc. from walk-in guests, phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients is an essential aspect of this role.
  • You will generate leads with the goal of boosting the number of applicants and converting leads to actual student enrollment.
  • Drafting appropriate communication and promotional materials (e.g., advertisements, brochures, etc.) to targeted sectors for recruitment purposes is another key responsibility.
  • The person in this position will send out email blasts to stakeholders and prospective applicants which may include promotional and other marketing materials related to our programs.
  • Utilizing Customer Relationship Management call-out as the primary channel to generate/recruit applicants and convert them to actual enrollment, ensuring that set enrollment targets for the school year are met is crucial.
  • This role requires generating participants for our programs and events.
  • Preparing daily and weekly activity/productivity reports and Weekly Online/Digital Media Tracking, Engagement and Conversion Reports is a must.
  • The person in this position will also attend to the administrative and logistical requirements of our marketing, brand, and lead-generating activities and events (e.g., Open House, Business seminars, learning sessions, Coffee Talks, etc.).
  • Coodinates closely with the University Marketing and Communications Office to ensure compliance with University directives, protocols, and branding guidelines related to communication.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant fields is required.
  • At least 2 years relevant Marketing experience or equivalent is necessary.
