Release Coordinator


Job Description:

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the release management process. This includes planning and scheduling software releases, developing and enforcing software development lifecycles, and coordinating with technical teams on CI/CD related topics.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and manage software releases for various products.
  • Develop and enforce software development lifecycle processes.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure smooth release processes.
  • Build and disseminate knowledge on release management best practices.
  • Oversee build and release processes using industry-standard tools like Jenkins, Gradle, and Bitbucket.
  • Provide technical consulting on setup and configuration of Avaloq Database factory and applications.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to installation and deployment.
  • Identify areas for quality improvement and execute process enhancements.
  • Contribute to design and technical documentation for software development lifecycle.
  • Manage containerization and orchestration pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor and improve release procedures and automation strategies.
  • Participate in on-call rotation (24/7) and cover Zurich time zone (CET/CEST).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms.
  • Knowledge of release management best practices.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
