Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Release Manager to join our team in Makati. As a key member of our Release Management Hub, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of Avaloq software releases to our clients in Region Europe.

Your primary focus will be on planning and executing releases, working closely with project managers and delivery managers to ensure successful delivery into live environments. You will also be accountable for release scope validation, technical validation, and creating implementation plans.

In addition to your technical skills, you will work collaboratively with specialists across different areas to implement cross-domain activities. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, project managers, test managers, and client managers.

You will have end-to-end ownership of specific customers throughout various SDLC phases and go-lives. Your experience in configuration management and release management is essential in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in release management and/or configuration management, preferably in the banking and financial services industry
  • Knowledge of Unix, Oracle, SQL, Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus, Gerrit, Bitbucket, or other source code management tools
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Conflict resolution and stakeholder management experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English
