Remote Credit Controller

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Remote Credit Controller to manage our aged debt reports, clear receipts from payments, and ensure timely payments from clients.

  • Manage and review aged debt reports to identify overdue payments.
  • Clear receipts and match them with the corresponding payments.
  • Interact with clients via phone (40%) and email (60%) regarding outstanding invoices.
  • Negotiate payment commitments and follow up to ensure timely payments.
  • Perform credit checks on new clients and update credit limits accordingly.
  • Set up new clients in the system and maintain accurate records.
  • Liaise with the finance team to resolve any payment discrepancies.
  • Monitor and report on collection progress to senior management.

Required skills include previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable, strong communication skills, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines, proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software, knowledge of credit checks and debt collection processes, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
