Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day revenue operations, including invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable management.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices, credits, and adjustments in accordance with contractual terms and billing schedules.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of revenue specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to support professional growth and development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and controls to streamline revenue processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and reduce errors.
- Identify opportunities for automation, system enhancements, and workflow improvements to enhance revenue accuracy and efficiency.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for revenue inquiries, escalations, and dispute resolution from internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and account managers.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with revenue processes and services.
- Ensure compliance with revenue recognition principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASC 606, GAAP).
- Prepare and analyze revenue-related reports, metrics, and KPIs to track revenue performance, aging receivables, and cash flow projections.
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of revenue systems, software applications, and databases to support accurate and efficient revenue operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required.
- Proven experience in revenue operations, accounts receivable management, or related financial roles, with a minimum of 4 years of managerial experience.
- Strong understanding of revenue principles, revenue recognition standards, and accounting practices (e.g., ASC 606, GAAP).
- Proficiency in revenue software systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
