Job Description

The Insurance Verification Representative plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and complete data input for insurance verifications in clients' host systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize payer web portals to obtain patients' current insurance information and update the information in the client system.
  • Verify insurance information against patient's insurance cards scanned in client system and ensure the correct and most up-to-date information is on the patient's account.
  • Once updates are entered in client system, follow procedure on filing the claims.
  • Comment all actions taken in internal and client host system.
  • Work independently from assigned work queues.
  • Meet and maintain daily productivity/quality standards established in departmental policies.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Obtain patients' current insurance information through payer web portals and update the information in the client system.
  • Verify insurance information against patients' insurance cards scanned in the client system and ensure the correct information is on the patient's account.
  • Filing claims following procedure after updating the client system.
  • Maintain accurate records of all actions taken in the internal and client host system.
  • Work independently from assigned work queues to meet productivity and quality standards.
