Senior Software Tester Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Tester to fill a key position in our organization.

The ideal candidate will possess 4-5 years of relevant experience in software testing, with a comprehensive understanding of software testing processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and industry best practices.

You will be responsible for developing test plans, executing manual and automated tests, identifying and resolving defects, and championing software quality. You will collaborate closely with developers, analyze requirements, and ensure financial technology applications meet global standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Test Planning and Strategy: Develop detailed test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications. Ensure that test coverage is thorough and aligns with both business goals and quality standards.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts. Leverage automation tools to increase test efficiency and coverage, while also applying manual testing techniques for complex, exploratory, or ad-hoc scenarios.
  • Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using standard bug tracking tools. Work collaboratively with the development team to troubleshoot issues, verify fixes, and ensure all defects are resolved prior to release.
  • Requirements Analysis: Participate in requirement and design review meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project objectives and identify potential quality risks early in the development cycle.
  • Regression and Performance Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely impact existing product features. Perform performance, load, and stress testing as needed.
  • Quality Advocacy: Promote a culture of quality throughout the development cycle. Provide input on process improvements and advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance.
