Financial Expertise Needed

About the Role
  • This is a Tax Specialist | Hybrid role that requires preparation of tax computations and handling filing/payment of tax returns for assigned entities.
Responsibilities
  1. Precision Tax Calculation: Prepare accurate tax computations for assigned entities, ensuring timely submission and payment of tax returns.
  2. Tax Compliance Management: Oversee the prompt filing and payment of taxes handled for assigned entities.
  3. Compliance with Regulatory Requirements: Provide necessary information to tax auditors and consultants for ongoing tax audits and other related work.
  4. Account Reconciliation: Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and tax rollforward analysis for assigned tax accounts.
  5. Closing Operations: Perform month-end close activities for assigned tax accounts.
  6. Special Projects: Handle tax-related projects and perform system testing for changes in tax setup.
  7. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accountancy required.
  • Knowledge and experience in taxation essential.
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Able to deliver according to established deadlines.
  • Exposed to conducting financial reviews and dealing with people at various organizational levels.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills required.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills needed.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to handle heavy workload under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
