Job Summary

  • The Accounting Manager is responsible for preparing financial reports for management and outside agencies on a monthly, quarterly, yearly basis. They must perform project life-cycle cost analysis, review sales and marketing expenditures, sales orders, and purchase orders.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and interpreting financial information, developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk, and performing hands-on work with external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial reports for management and outside agencies.
  • Project life-cycle cost analysis and review of sales and marketing expenditures, sales orders, and purchase orders.
  • Providing and interpreting financial information.
  • Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.
  • Hands-on work experience with external auditors.
  • Conducting and coordinating internal and external audits and preparing fiscal documentation.
  • Managing the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
  • Planning and preparation of budget and forecasting.
  • Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends.
  • Management of the Finance and Accounting team, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, bank and account reconciliations, billing, coding, and payments.
  • Federal and state tax reporting's, quarterly and year-end closing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA certification.
  • Demonstrated experience with USA accounting systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing full accounting duties in a medium- or large-size company.
  • Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with ERP accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • High professional standards and ethics, with an ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Performance management of support staff.
  • Demonstrated direct experience coordinating internal and external audits.

Qualifications
