We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client services team.

This role involves providing exceptional client care through regular meetings and ensuring compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an accountancy firm during training and possess strong accounting skills.

About the Role:

This position focuses on preparing draft accounts from source documents, undertaking larger Limited company accounts with relevant support, and clearing routine queries with clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure exceptional client care standards are maintained through regular meetings.
  • Prepare draft accounts from source documents.
  • Undertake larger Limited company accounts with relevant support.
  • Clear routine queries with clients.
  • Prepare tax computation based on draft accounts.
  • Finalise figures for managers and prepare paperwork for client approval.
  • Deal with ad hoc client queries.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT Returns for clients using bridging software.
  • Provide general support to clients and directors.
Technical Requirements:
  • Experience with FRS102, One Man Band companies, and charities.
  • Proficiency in IRIS, Sage, Xero, Xero Practice Manager, QuickBooks, FYI Docs, and MyWorkPapers.

The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for supporting clients using accounting skills.
