Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Insights Specialist to support our People Success team. The successful candidate will focus on data preparation, recurring reporting, dashboard upkeep, and quality checks to transform people data into clear insights for HR and business partners.

About the Role:

  • Data Preparation & Analysis: Validate and clean datasets from HR systems, run data quality checks, flag anomalies, and document fixes.
  • Reporting Support: Prepare and refresh recurring people metrics (e.g., headcount, attrition/retention, tenure, internal moves, compensation) on monthly/quarterly cadences.
  • Dashboard Upkeep: Update and QA existing dashboards, ensure filters and definitions work as intended, and make layout/content tweaks as directed.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Pull extracts and run basic analyses to support data analysis and investigations.
  • Documentation: Maintain data processing notes so logic is traceable and repeatable.
  • Privacy & Security: Handle sensitive employee data responsibly and support compliance with data-privacy requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and propose improvements that enhance our produced insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1–2 years of experience in data/people analytics, HR reporting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, including pivots, lookups, and nested formulas.
  • Familiarity with BI tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, is a plus.
  • Experience with HR data, especially from HRIS/ATS/payroll platforms, would be beneficial.
  • An analytical and data-driven mindset, with attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
