We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our team.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for managing system platforms across both on-premise and cloud provided solutions ensuring they are robust, secure and scalable. The candidate should have a strong technical background, with experience in IT systems administration, specifically in enterprise-level Windows and Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud & On-Premise Infrastructure Leadership: Design and implement infrastructure solutions using AWS/Azure, aligned with business and technical goals
  • Active Directory Management: Optimise Active Directory across locations—manage users, policies, permissions, and implement MFA and conditional access
  • Cloud Optimisation: Use cloud-native tools and automation to improve performance and reduce costs without compromising security
  • Server Administration: Maintain Windows/Linux servers—patching, updates, tuning, HA/DR readiness for critical systems
  • Network Oversight: Configure and monitor Cisco Meraki networks; collaborate with cybersecurity on network hardening

Skill Requirements:

  • Ideally 5-8 years of experience in IT systems administration, with at least 3 years in a senior role managing enterprise-level Windows and Linux environments at scale (500+ end points)
  • Direct experience of managing Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra – including PowerShell scripting
  • Cloud administration in an AWS environment (as well as Google Cloud or Azure)
  • Building / Managing of Linux instances (preferably CentOS or RedHat)

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of handling updates on Meraki/Cisco or other next-gen firewalls and Linux instances
  • Industry certifications in Microsoft MCSE, Microsoft 365, AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or ITIL v3 or v4
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Familiar with security standards such as ISO27001/NIST/CIS
  • Database Administration – familiar with regular DBA tasks on Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB, etc
