Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to craft and maintain the bank's security architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate will develop and implement robust security strategies, policies, and procedures to defend against cyber threats and data breaches.

  • Develop and implement robust security strategies, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities across systems and infrastructure.
  • Continuously evaluate security technologies to strengthen the bank's defense posture.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, including GDPR, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
  • Establish governance processes to monitor and maintain security controls and compliance.
Incident Response & Monitoring
  • Develop incident response plans to address potential security breaches effectively.
  • Deploy advanced monitoring tools to detect and mitigate suspicious activities in real time.
Collaboration & Awareness
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to embed security into every facet of the bank's operations.
  • Lead security awareness programs to educate employees on best practices and emerging threats.
Vendor & Technology Oversight
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure outsourced systems meet stringent security requirements.
  • Stay ahead of emerging security trends, continuously enhancing the bank's security measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven expertise: 10+ years in IT, architecture, or security roles, with a strong foundation in application security and modern application architecture.
  • Industry insight: Experience in banking, credit cards, investments, loans, remittance, or trade is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge base: Familiarity with key compliance standards (GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO) and a track record of implementing security frameworks.
  • Leadership & communication: A strategic thinker with the ability to inspire and guide teams while effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
