Quality Assurance Specialist

Role Overview

We seek a meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist who can bridge the gap between clients and our development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough reviews of completed work to identify defects, inconsistencies, or usability issues.
  • Log and track bugs in project management tools like Trello, providing clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
  • Identify not only task-specific defects but also related side issues that could impact project quality.
  • Ensure issues are addressed before delivery to the client.
Support & Project Coordination
  • Liaise directly with clients to assess incoming support requests, clarifying requirements where needed.
  • Translate client feedback into actionable tasks for the development team.
  • Prioritize and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  • Track project progress and update relevant stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding completed work / tasks.
Tools & Process
  • Utilize project management tools like Trello and Jira to monitor tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth workflows.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in manual QA, preferably within a digital agency or software development environment.
  • Strong familiarity with project management tools such as Trello, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to think beyond the immediate task.
  • Proactive in identifying issues before they are raised by the client.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in project management or coordination.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and basic HTML/CSS concepts.
