Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Science Manager to lead our advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the data science roadmap for supply chain transformation, partnering with senior leaders across planning, procurement, and operations.

About the Role

The Data Science Manager will oversee the development of predictive and prescriptive tools to enhance efficiency, service levels, and cost savings, while driving continuous improvement within the data analytics function.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the data science roadmap for supply chain transformation.
  • Partner with senior leaders across planning, procurement, and operations to identify high-impact analytics initiatives.
  • Lead the development of predictive and prescriptive tools to enhance efficiency, service levels, and cost savings.
  • Manage projects from problem definition to model deployment, leading and mentoring a team of data scientists and analysts.
  • Ensure timely and scalable integration of analytics models with existing planning systems.
  • Oversee the development of machine learning models for forecasting, inventory optimization, supply planning, network modeling, and anomaly detection using advanced algorithms.
  • Drive adoption of data science solutions by communicating business value clearly and promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in data science, with at least one year in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing or logistics/distribution industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, critical-thinking, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
