We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at P&A Grant Thornton. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for performing procedures assigned by the engagement Senior Payroll Specialist and/or Payroll Manager.
Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in payroll principles, taxation, and relevant laws. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with other members of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, update, and understand fully the client's standard payroll process or engagement manual.
- Execute the procedures in the work program assigned to him/her by the engagement Senior Payroll Specialist and/or Payroll Manager.
- Update superiors of work progress; give feedback on work performed, difficulties encountered, and issues identified.
- Communicate with the client any payroll instructions clarifications, issues, etc.
