Job Title: Cloud Engineering Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in storage technologies, backup and restore strategies, cloud infrastructure, and virtualization.

  • Maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Storage operations and administration, including provisioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and break-fix activities.
  • Design and implement backup as a service (BaaS) solutions using Commvault and Veeam, ensuring effective backup and recovery strategies.
  • Manage and optimize virtualization environments using VMware, including vCenter, vSAN, and ESXi.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate cloud operations and improve overall system efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on storage technologies, backup solutions, and industry best practices to ensure team proficiency and alignment with standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, addressing issues related to performance, security, and availability.
  • Maintain documentation for cloud architecture, backup processes, and incident responses.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Storage Engineer with expertise across multiple storage technologies like Dell/EMC, ECS, HPE, etc.
  • Proficient in backup and restore concepts and hands-on experience with Commvault and Veeam.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, particularly VMware.
  • Basic administration skills in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with Dell and HP hardware.
  • Good knowledge of network and security fundamentals.
