Estimating Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical estimator to join our team. This role is critical to project success, requiring accurate cost and resource estimates.

Main Responsibilities
  • Data Entry & Management
    • Enter project data into our system accurately and efficiently
    • Maintain records of all estimates, bids, and project costs
    • Organize project documents, including plans, specifications, and proposals
  • Takeoffs
    • Perform detailed takeoffs from blueprints and specifications, including material quantities, labor hours, equipment needs, utilizing industry-standard software
  • Estimate Preparation
    • Develop competitive cost estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
    • Analyze project scope, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies
    • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates
  • System Utilization
    • Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer relationships, and monitor project progress
    • Generate reports and analyze data to improve estimating accuracy
Requirements
  • Experience with construction estimating software (Square Takeoff)
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Clickapp, Joist)
  • Strong data entry skills

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in construction estimating and CRM software.
