Director of Engineering

The role of Director of Engineering is a pivotal one within our organization, tasked with overseeing the development and implementation of technical solutions that drive business success. This position requires a seasoned professional who possesses a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and deployment of complex software systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop strategic plans to address them.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their growth and development as professionals.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource allocation.
  • Represent the engineering team in meetings with executives, product managers, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in programming languages, data structures, and algorithms.
  • 6+ years of experience in leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in delivering large-scale software projects, with a focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
