Senior Video Editor Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor to join our team in creating high-quality video content. The ideal candidate will have expertise in editing reality-style or unscripted multi-cam footage and will be able to work collaboratively with a team to produce engaging videos.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit multi-camera footage with separate sound to create polished and compelling videos.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain a consistent video release schedule.
  • Manage and mentor junior editors, ensuring they meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Work with unscripted, freestyle content to create engaging narratives and maintain viewer interest.
  • Conduct trial edits to demonstrate proficiency and alignment with our creative vision.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in video editing, preferably with reality or unscripted multi-camera content.
  • Proficiency in popular video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to craft engaging narratives from unscripted footage.
  • Familiarity with sound syncing and audio post-production techniques.
  • Experience working in a team environment; prior team management experience is a plus but not required.
