Senior Engineering Manager Role

About this job: Our company is seeking a seasoned Senior Engineering Manager to lead our NetSuite team. The role involves integrating AI capabilities with security data using natural language and enhancing the ability of security teams to assess data exposure and access risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage multiple engineering teams, develop leadership talent, foster ownership, remove blockers, and create an inclusive environment.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent specializing in ERP solutions.
  • Lead managers and grow leadership talent across NetSuite development teams.
  • Technical Oversight: Set technical direction and ensure architectural integrity across multiple teams.
  • Oversee scalable NetSuite ERP solutions using SuiteScript, JavaScript, and database technologies.
  • Drive custom NetSuite development including SuiteBundler/SuiteApp and SuiteFlow implementations.
  • Maintain code quality standards and ensure security compliance with ERP best practices.
  • Ensure proper implementation of custom objects, workflows, and NetSuite administration.
  • Strategic Execution: Translate business goals into engineering strategy and actionable objectives for ERP platforms.
  • Lead product consolidation efforts across multiple NetSuite implementations and customizations.
  • Coordinate cross-team technical decisions and manage technical debt in enterprise systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development.
  • 5+ years of management experience leading multiple teams and managing managers.
  • Experience with JavaScript, SQL (PL/SQL), and relational database design with Oracle and MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
  • Experience with ERP system implementation and management.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices for enterprise systems.
