Thematic Study Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled consultant to conduct a thematic study on protection. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in conducting studies and evaluations, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

The thematic study will be conducted as part of a multi-country program focused on child and youth protection. The consultant will be responsible for measuring the effectiveness and impact of the program in each country, including a comparative analysis of operational strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct a thematic study on protection, with a focus on cross-cutting approaches such as gender, participation, and inclusion.
  • Analyze how these approaches affect youth protection issues and the extent to which the program reaches marginalized or vulnerable children and youth with disabilities.
  • Assess the sustainability potential of results to date, including how protection mechanisms are institutionalized and the program's contributions to national policies, guidelines, or reforms in child and youth protection.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in conducting studies and evaluations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
