About the Role

As a seasoned Automation QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications by designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test solutions.

In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to build scalable test frameworks, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective wait strategies to eliminate flakiness.

With a strong background in software quality assurance, you will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines.

Your attention to detail and ability to automate API tests will enable you to drive business value through efficient testing processes.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2-3 years focused on test automation.

A solid understanding of the Page Object Model (POM) and experience building scalable test automation frameworks is essential.

Additionally, proficiency in Git and version control workflows, including branching, pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts is crucial.

Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines is highly valued.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years in software quality assurance, with at least 2-3 years focused on test automation
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern features like async/await and Promises
  • Hands-on experience with any JS-based testing framework, deep experience with WebDriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright is a very strong plus
