Job Profile

We seek an experienced technical professional to lead the design and implementation of secure infrastructure solutions.

  • Develop and maintain complex network systems, firewalls, and wireless networks

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with vendors, clients, and team members via phone and email to design and implement technical engineering projects
  2. Design, build, and administer Office 365 and SharePoint environments, Intune, and other complex administrative tasks
  3. Own and execute issues, projects, or architectural designs from start to finish
  4. Adjust work hours as needed for project activities scheduled during evenings or weekends
  5. Write and maintain internal and client-facing documentation
  6. Participate in on-call rotation for critical clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Systems Engineer or Systems Administrator role
  • Prior MSP experience and comfort working with multiple clients required
  • Experience configuring firewalls, switches, and servers (WatchGuard and Fortinet preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Customer Service experience a plus)
  • Enterprise-level understanding of change control processes, proper documentation standards, and effective communication practices
  • Experience working with Windows Server (up to 2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS
  • Strong background in virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, clustering technologies)
  • Familiarity with VDI/Session-based desktop design (Citrix, Microsoft RDS)
  • Knowledgeable in LAN/WAN infrastructure and system/network security best practices
  • Experience in scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, or Python)
  • Cloud architecture experience beneficial (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365 Intune)
