About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Associate Observability Engineer to join our team at Five9 Inc.

The successful candidate will have experience with public cloud operators specifically GCP and AWS, and possess strong knowledge of Linux administration and network concepts.

Responsibilities include supporting Observability Tools, providing Tier 1 OS Support, and collaborating with developers to deploy and maintain application servers.

Please find below the key responsibilities and requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Observability Tools.
  • Provide Tier 1 OS Support.
  • Collaborate with developers to deploy and maintain application servers.
  • Receive instructions from Manager/Staff Engineers and be able to achieve the work with guidance from other team members.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years experience as an SRE or similar experience with public cloud operators specifically GCP and AWS.
  • 1-2 years experience with Linux administration (CentOS / Ubuntu).
  • 1-2 years experience with Network concepts using tools like ping, netstat, and similar tools.
  • Strong ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
