Our client is a professional accounting firm providing business, tax, and consulting services to various clients.

What are we looking for?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank accounts regularly, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues promptly to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Process bills and invoices with precision, ensuring timely payments to vendors and maintaining accurate data within the accounting system.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing workpapers, generating financial reports, and ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
  • Maintain meticulous records and ensure data accuracy in all aspects of bookkeeping tasks.
  • Communicate with clients as needed to gather information, clarify discrepancies, and provide exceptional service in managing their accounts.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong proficiency in Xero and familiarity with other accounting software like MYOB or QuickBooks.
  • Solid understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
