Job Description

We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to provide support to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative and HR duties, including but not limited to:


  • Providing assistance in accounting, purchasing, human resources, inventory control and document control.
  • Compiling, editing and assisting in the preparation of special reports, studies and correspondence as directed.
  • Administering plant payroll system including analyzing time sheets, solving payroll problems and discrepancies and interfacing with payroll manager as required for smooth operation of the payroll system.
  • Assisting as necessary in screening, hiring applicants for positions including employment verifications, reference checks, etc.
  • Learning and operating all aspects of the computerized maintenance management software program including data entry, inventory, requisition and purchase order processes.
  • Providing support for the plant warehouse, including inventory control and maintaining purchasing records.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and resolving any billing issues
  • Developing and carrying out efficient documentation and filing system for both paper and electronic records
  • Assisting employees with any Human Resource-related issues that arise
  • Performing miscellaneous administrative duties as directed, such as purchasing office supplies and equipment and other related office.
  • Ensuring operations adhere to policies and regulations
  • Maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) years' experience in clerical/secretarial responsibilities.
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel or similar software.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting principles.
