Senior Internal Auditor (SOX)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Senior Internal Auditor (SOX) in a permanent work-from-home arrangement with night shift hours.

Position: Senior Internal Auditor (SOX)

Work setup & shift: Work From Home | Night shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute SOX audits according to plan or management/Audit Committee requests.
  • Document and analyze audit evidence to support findings, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit workpapers and reports, maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Identify control gaps and track remediation efforts to ensure ongoing improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external auditors to achieve common goals.
  • Provide expert advice on internal control best practices and promote audit awareness throughout the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with business operations, IT, and industry standards, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate audit insights and actionable recommendations to key stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
  • Assess emerging risks and promote data analytics and automation to enhance audit efficiency.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of audit experience in public accounting or internal audit within a US-listed public company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • CPA certification is mandatory for this role.
  • Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO, COBIT) and SOX compliance is essential.
  • Experience auditing key business processes such as revenue, procure to pay, and financial statement close is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills are required for success in this role.
  • The ability to work independently with high integrity and accountability is crucial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit tools like AuditBoard/SOXHub is necessary.
  • Willingness to travel as needed is also expected.
